BOX FIRE BF7 S is a pre-assembled thermal module that allows you to heat rooms where the heating system is normally powered by a closed vessel boiler, through the use of hot water produced by an open vessel solid fuel heat source (fireplace boiler or boiler stove with built-in circulator). It allows the separate operation of the primary circuit (fireplace boiler) and secondary circuit (boiler) as required by the technical regulations in force, with excellent heat transfer by means of a 30 or 40 plate heat exchanger. In addition, the BF7 S module manages the production of Domestic Hot Water by means of a storage tank with a priority function on the heating actuated by the 3-way diverter valve.

The FDG2 control unit, by means of two probes St1 and St2, detects the temperature of the fireplace boiler and that of the storage boiler. If the temperature of the latter is below the pre-set value of 50 °C, when the temperature of the fireplace boiler exceeds the value of 30 °C and that of the storage tank by at least 5 °C, the FDG2 control unit starts the PTC pump of the fireplace boiler with the three-way valve VD diverted to the coil circuit of the storage tank that heats up. Once the temperature of 50 °C set for the Boiler has been exceeded, the VD valve diverts the water from the fireplace boiler onto the primary circuit of the IC6 plate heat exchanger of the heating system. When the temperature of the fireplace boiler exceeds 70 °C, the PIR heating circulator starts and the boiler is switched off when the vessel is closed.
